  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tsp Newman’s Own Organic Basil Leaves
  • 1 tsp garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp Newman’s Own Sea Salt Flakes
  • 3½ cups of Newman’s Own® Sockarooni Sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup parmesan, grated
  • ½ cup mozzarella, shredded



Preheat broiler to 500°F and adjust rack to upper-middle position.


In a large oven-safe non-stick skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Cook onions and ground turkey until browned, breaking up meat with your spoon. Season with basil, garlic and salt. Add the pasta sauce and water, stirring to combine.


Over the pan, break spaghetti in half, then break into 2-inch pieces. Cook until pasta softens, about 7 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover skillet and simmer for another 7 minutes.


Turn off heat and stir in cream, ¼ cup parmesan, and ¼ cup mozzarella. Sprinkle the top with ¼ cup parmesan and ¼ cup mozzarella. Place skillet in the broiler until the top browns, about 3 minutes.


Let spaghetti cool for 5 minutes and serve.
