  • 2 cups diced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 pounds ground turkey or chicken
  • 2 cups canned kidney beans
  • 1 jar Newman’s Own® Sockarooni or Marinara Pasta Sauce
  • 2-3 cups water
  • 2-3 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp Newman’s Own Organic Ground Cumin
  • Newman’s Own Coarse Ground Black Pepperto taste
  • 1 tbs plain fat free Greek yogurt and lime wedges for garnish



Sauté onion, garlic, and pepper in oil until soft. Add turkey and brown.


Add kidney beans, pasta sauce, water, chili powder, cumin and pepper to taste.


Simmer, uncovered, up to 1 ½ hours, stirring frequently.


Garnish with a dollop of plain fat free Greek yogurt and lime wedges.
