Cranberry Ginger Pink Lemonade

Ingredients
6 1/2 cups Newman’s Own Pink Lemonade, divided
2 thin slices fresh gingerroot (1/4-inch thick)
1 cup frozen cranberries
3 tbsp granulated sugar
Ice
Candied ginger, for garnish (optional)
6 lemon wheels, for garnish
Directions
To start, place a small saucepan over medium heat, add 1/2 cup Newman’s Own Pink Lemonade, ginger root, cranberries and sugar. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 12 minutes or until thickened. Let cool.
Pour remaining Newman’s Own Pink Lemonade into a large pitcher. Add the cranberries mixture and stir to combine. Refrigerate until chilled.
Add ice to 6 serving glasses as desired. Divide cranberry-lemonade mixture evenly.
If using, thread candied ginger onto cocktail skewers and arrange over glasses. Garnish with lemon wheels.
Tip: Substitute frozen cranberries with frozen raspberries or strawberries if desired.
