12 whole Newman’s Own Original Newman-O’s
12 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup crushed Newman’s Own Original Newman-O’s, divided
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
Place a whole Newman-O in each muffin cup.
In medium bowl, using handheld electric mixer, beat together cream cheese and sugar until creamy. One at a time, add eggs, scraping down sides between each addition. Stir in vanilla and salt. Fold in 3/4 cup crushed Newman’s Own Original Newman-O’s.
Divide cream cheese mixture evenly among muffin cups. Sprinkle remaining crushed Newman’s Own Original Newman-O’s evenly over batter.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until cheesecake mixture is set in the middle and lightly golden around sides. Let cool completely before chilling. Remove liners before serving.
Tip: Top cheesecakes with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.
